TypeQuick is built so you never have to choose between speed and privacy. Run it fully on-device, or use cloud mode knowing exactly what we do — and don't do — with your data.
Local mode — fully on-device
Choose the local model and your audio never leaves your machine. Speech-to-text runs entirely offline using a quantised Whisper-class recogniser.
Cloud mode — encrypted in transit
All cloud traffic uses TLS 1.3. Audio is processed and discarded immediately — never stored, never used for training. Inference runs in EU and Singapore regions.
No training on your data
Our contract with the inference provider forbids training on customer payloads. Audio and prompts are dropped the moment we return your text.
Encrypted at rest
Account data lives in a managed Postgres database with AES-256 encryption at the storage layer. Local history and dictionary are stored on your device in a standard SQLite file.
GDPR-aligned
Processing is based on GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) — performance of the contract you accept when using TypeQuick. Optional analytics require explicit consent and can be withdrawn anytime.
Your rights, one click
Export your account data as JSON, delete your account fully within 30 days, or switch to local mode at any time from settings.
